I got the neatest email the other day from WordPress with the subject ‘Your 2010 Year in Blogging.’ They rated the summary of the overall health of my blog and provided some cool stats. Here they are:
The stats helper monkeys at WordPress.com mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:
The Blog-Health-o-Meter™ reads Fresher than ever.
A Boeing 747-400 passenger jet can hold 416 passengers. This blog was viewed about 3,300 times in 2010. That’s about 8 full 747s.
In 2010, there were 65 new posts, not bad for the first year! There were 180 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 46mb. That’s about 3 pictures per week.
The busiest day of the year was August 11th with 91 views. The most popular post that day was He Proposed!!! And I Said YES! .
Where did they come from?
The top referring sites in 2010 were facebook.com, alisonbillings.wordpress.com, mywedding.com, thepeonypapers.wordpress.com, and twitter.com.
Some visitors came searching, mostly for christopher riley brown, margarita, thankfulness, seaside, or, and silly bandz.
There were some other things listed too, but they weren’t as interesting! Pretty cool, huh? I love that the busiest day on my blog was after I wrote about the proposal. Aww!
